I am extremely excited for this amazing opportunity! Before the application process, traveling to South Africa seemed like a far away dream in the back of my mind. Now being accepted into the program, my nerves and inner anxiety have been revealed. Going on this trip has become reality and I am still trying to process it. But I know the pre-departure class will help prepare me for this study abroad experience, and I am looking forward to getting to know my fellow participants and sharing this once in a lifetime adventure together.
